2006 RustRidge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Gold Medal winning RustRidge 2006 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful yet elegant wine, balancing concentration of fruit with well-integrated oak and gripping but ripe tannins. Aromas of black pepper, black cherry, earth and spice abound. The mouth feel is richly textured with layers of juicy blackberries, plum skin, leather, cedar and roasted nuts, followed by a long and complex finish with a hint of anise. This wine is ready to be enjoyed now as the perfect accompaniment to a grilled steak or lamb chops, but has ample structure to age well for many years.
