The first foal was born on March 18th. Stacy's Comet gave birth to "Winnie". Aptly named because that was the first thing she did. All of the other horses were calling to her Mom and she joined in.
The second arrival was "Betty" like Betty Grable, has the million dollar legs. Her legs are so long that she needed assistance to get up and start nursing. She was born March 20th about 6 pm.
The first boy arrived at 3:30 am on April 12. "Blade" was named for the marking on his forehead. Kool & Lovly is the proud mother.
RustRidge Reserve surprised us by having her foal just before feed time, 3:30 pm on April 14th. RustRidge Reserve had a filly. She is a golden chestnut with a star and we call her Goldie.
They spent their days frolicking in their lush green pastures with their mothers and provided great joy to all who visited that summer.
In 2008, the three fillies are training at Bay Meadows Racecourse in San Mateo, CA. All three fillies now have racing names: Winnie is First Press, Betty is Susan's Wine and Goldie is Gold Ridge.

Blade, our three year old gelding, whose racing name is "Free Run Gold", is back in training after recovering from a shoulder injury.
